In his first year being able to effectively translate for his Supervisors he was also chosen to be trained in the company’s Hiring Process System in English and Spanish. In the years Augi was with the Cheesecake Factory factory as a staff member, he was a part of training and hiring hundreds of different industry professionals.
In 2013 Augi was selected to be a part of the international opening team. Training in the first ever Kuwait and 2nd Dubai Cheesecake Factories. After his middle east adventure, at the age of 23, Augi decided to go from Star Staff member to Manager for the company. Training in Walnut Creek, CA being the first ever Manager.While still in training he was sent to the Cheesecake Factory Institute in Callabasa Hills California a week long business retreat ; designed to encourage and observe up and coming Managers; that have already been with the company for some time. And doing what he loves to do, meeting his Idol Linda Candiot. He shined by quoting the mash potato recipe and explaining in detail every critical control point. He then saw that he truly was amazing at what he does.
Coming back from the retreat finishing his training and Managing in locations such as Corte Madera he took a step back and decided to leave the Cheesecake Factory and his thirst to gain more knowledge he worked with other companies.

In 2017 he returned to the first restaurant he ever worked at. There he returned to serving and training new employees. Then one day, his lifelong professional friend Sorosh Ahmad said get behind the bar and if anyone else would have told him , he would have just brushed it off and said whatever. But since Sorosh was the person who trained him on his first day ever as a restaurant employee back in 2008 it really sunk in with Augi. He had already done every position that the restaurant can offer so why not the bar.
As a teen, when everyone was thinking of what college they would be going to. When they were in school. Augi was thinking of becoming a Chef. Taking every home economics class the school had to offer. And on the weekend, cooking for friends when possible to practice. After graduating High School he went to work as a Ski Lift Operator in Lake Tahoe and experiencing his first job in the Service Industry. When the Snow melted in the Spring of 2008 he came back to his home town and got an entry level job as a Host at the Cheesecake Factory.
Within the first year he shined. Becoming a trainer and being sent by the company to be a part of new restaurant openings. That is where he knew that this was not only his career but his life. What he truly loves to do. Anyone who has spoken with Augi about restaurants, food, or beverage, you will hear his voice change into utter enthusiasm and love for he does. Throughout his career at the Cheesecake Factory he obtained certifications and worked extreme high volume shits in positions:
